RACE REPORT: GEORGIA KARTING COMPLEX – TRI-STATE SERIES

8/3/08 Tri State # 5 is now in the books for 2008. Ryan qualified Blue Heavy in 4th and finished 2nd after a hard feature event that was neck to neck for a solid 15 lap feature.
In Pro Blue, Ryan qualified 5th, and drove his Phantom Tod Miller powered Kart to a 2nd place finish from a 5th place starting position.
After a pretty good day, and us anxiously awaiting the Blue Lite event that Ryan qualified 3rd in, we felt confident that we could end the day with a feature event win. Unfortunately, mother nature did not hold out for us as the rain as well as hail came ending the days events early and the race being called as we qualified.
Again, We thank God for a safe day and some good runs. The last upcoming Tri-State is set for Labor Day weekend and we hope to come away with at least one Tri-State Championship. With this weekends result, we are leading the Blue Heavy Division, 3rd in the Pro Blue, and 2nd in the Blue Lite. The points run is extremely close so we are striving for some great results at the Tri-State #6 and hoping to pull off at least 1 Championship in this series.
In closing, we wanted to Thank some family members that made a trip to Georgia this weekend to watch Ryan run. To Keitha, Greg, Jordan, and Chance we love having you participate in what we love doing, and are proud that you came to be a part of it with us.
