RACE REPORT: CONCORD, NC – CONCORD MOTOR SPEEDWAY
Written by: Ryan Heavner Racing
LINCOLNTON, NC – (August 1st, 2009) The Red 77 Machine piloted by Ryan Heavner was fast under the lights Wednesday at Concord Motor Speedway’s 1/4 mile. Ryan qualified on the outside pole and chased the leader for several laps and thru several cautions. 23 laps into the feature event, a caution for oil on the track brought the field to a stand still for clean-up. When racing was ready to resume, due to a threat from mother nature, the race re-started with a Green, White, Checkered instead of the remaining 13 laps Ryan felt he needed to take a stab at the lead.
Ryan Heavner would like to thank all their current business partners for their continued support to both the team and racing. Those include; Lawing Marble, Inc., Tarheel Granite and Tile Company, Stone Source, Burks, Inc. (High Point, N.C.), Kustom Kreation Graphics, L.J. Dezigns, and WaltersWebDesign.com.
