RYAN HEAVNER PREPARES FOR ARCA RACING SERIES
LINCOLNTON, NC (MAY 3RD, 2013) The season has gotten off to a slow paced start for Ryan Heavner with hopes of Sponsorship that hasn’t evolved as of yet. We have also made the decision to lease our Pro Cup Car to a veteran racer in hopes of banking funds to enable Ryan to run a selective number of ARCA races in the 2013 season.
With the excitement and new challenges of being a young entrepreneur car owner at 17, it is extremely hard to give up your seat and love to race, but at the same time, he is doing it so that he can do bigger things and hopefully showcase his talent in bigger levels of racing. This is where his P.U.S.H. has been tested this season. We have hit obstacle after obstacle, and been forced to make decisions that were some good and some bad.
Currently, we have purchased another car to start preparing for some ARCA races, we were faced with the decision to look at where we wanted to go on the ARCA schedule. Some unexpected setbacks have Ryan Heavner Racing focused on the fall race in Iowa on September 7th. This will be a live televised race, and in the interim, we will work with the Pro Cup Schedule and continue to run several of the Pro Cup races where Ryan is a very active member of the team and fully supports his driver and crew.
Soon Ryan Heavner Racing will update the photos section of the team website for a visual update on our progress as well as a testing schedule we are planning to run in order to get our car as ready as possible. Ryan will also continue to attend his P.U.S.H. appearances as you can check his schedule on the www.PUSH-Foundation.com website and we will also update these as each event takes place.
With all the setbacks this year, we have to believe that the upcoming new season may bring with it some promises of sponsorship and success for the team. Ryan Heavner has had some people come into his life recently that really want to see him be successful and are willing to contribute in an effort to help make this possible. Thanks for the support and as always, continue to P.U.S.H. – Pray Until Something Happens.
Off the track, Ryan Heavner has been active in dual enrollment. As a junior, he is now taking both High School and College classes at the same time. He is hoping to enter college as a sophmore. After visiting UNCC he plans to apply their and eventually come out with a Bachlors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with concentration on Motorsports. Ryan looks forward to his future.
