Ryan Heavner Back in the Hunt for Title Championship

May 31, 2017 by Walters Web Design

    Battling back after crash

At the start of the 2017 racing season Ryan Heavner set a goal for his racing season. That objective was to win the Tri-State Championship. Ryan Heavner Racing constructed a winning combination; Daniel Armstrong and the Speed Clinic.

Ryan Heavner Kart RacerHe jumped out of the gate, full speed. Heavner won the opening round of the Tri-State Pro Series. That opener was back in February at the Georgia Karting Komplex.

The second round at Thunder Valley Speedway was a solid points weekend as well. Heavner came out with a 7th and a 5th, two top 10 runs.

However, in round three things went South in a hurry. Heavner rolled his #7 kart while battling at the front of the field. The results of the weekend were disappointing, a DNF and a DNS. Heavner was uninjured but he also dropped anchor on the points sheet in both Super Heavy and Pro Divisions.

Round four, fireworks and all, he rebounded. Heavner returned after a rollover with a clean sweep of the following weekend. Heavner left the Georgia Karting Komplex last weekend with two poles and two wins. Heavner has catapulted himself back up the points chart.

Ryan Heavner would really like to share credit to Daniel Armstrong, the Speed Clinic Power and the Awesome RHR Racing Team. Perhaps the team can pull this Championship off. Only two races remain. Race #5 comes in the Summer. The tour concludes during Thanksgiving weekend.

Ryan Heavner currently leads the points in the Hoosier Racing Series. A new karting series, introduced in 2017. Currently, the North Carolina kart racer also leads the points in the Mid Atlantic as well as NC Dirt Series. The team is at the half-way mark in that series, a lot of racing yet to go.

Who says season starting goals can’t be slightly modified at the mid-way point?

Ryan Heavner Awarded for 2016 Racing Season – 2017 Karting Plans

January 31, 2017 by Walters Web Design

Ryan Heavner Racing 2017 season underway – A win and runner-up already collected

Ryan Heaver Racing has set a goal for the 2017 racing season… A Tri-State Championship.

The Tri-State Pro Series begins their dirt karting tour on February 3rd. The series hosts 8 kart races across South Carolina and Georgia. Though, two races have yet to be added to the 2017 Tri-State karting schedule.

Ryan Heavner and the Daniel Armstrong Team have partnered with the Gary Freeze Speed Clinic. Daniel Armstrong wears many hats within the race team. He works as the driver coach, mentor and tire specialist to Ryan Heavner Racing.

Gary Freeze is providing the power of the 2017 karting campaign via “The Speed Clinic” racing engine shop. Daniel Armstrong + Gary Freeze is a winning combination. Proven, as the 2017 has already begun with a first and second place finish.

The team has rolled out of the 2017 gates with a bang! Two races have already been run thus far. The season began last weekend at the Fastrax Kartway in Bennettesville, SC. He collected a Super Heavy pole and a win! That wasn’t all, in the Pro Super Heavy class he also sat on pole, coming up just short of the main event win with a runner-up result.

The remainder of the Ryan Heavner 2017 schedule is in the works. As of now, the Tri-State Series is the focus. Though more karting dates will be added. Outside of karting… things are always in the works. The overall goal is to return to stock car racing, sponsorship pending.

Ryan Heavner is heading to the Georgia Karting Komplex in Carnsville, GA this week. Where the Tri-State Pro Series championship campaign begins.

Last year, Ryan Heavner Racing collected 8 wins in forty-one starts in route to claiming a national karting championship. He was netted the 2016 Animal Super Heavy National Champion as well as the 2016 Triple Crown Winner in the National Karting League. Recently he was awarded at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Speedway Club for his efforts in the National Karting League.
